FVS is community of courageous contributors. Across all grade levels, our students are encouraged to take action in ways that are meaningful to them and their community. It’s integral to the educational experience we offer through the IB Programme.
We support and facilitate student-driven actions such as book sales to raise funds for learning hub equipment; bake sales to raise funds for out of school charities; sorting the recycling after school and much more.
Our students learn within a global context; there is a focus on service at school and home, in the community, to our country and in the world.
Our school community models for our students the importance and value of community service. We have a strong commitment from our families who volunteer to support our school and students as well as community initiatives such as the Christmas-time hamper program.
